She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. H. C. Schlarb and Olive Schlarb (Emerson); her husband William Richard "Bill" Redding; and her siblings, Jim Schlarb and Jane Maddock.
She is survived by: her children, Janet Shaver (Ken) of Anderson and Steve Redding (Ann) of Durango, Colorado; her granddaughters, Kimberly Redding Nusbaum (Charles) of Denver and Jill Redding (Saleem Douly) of Boulder, Colorado; her children, Rachel Shaver of Key Largo and Dr. Samuel Shaver (Diane) of Pendleton; her great grandchildren, Alexander Nusbaum of Colorado, Olivia Nusbaum of Colorado and Christopher Douly of Colorado; her grandsons, Isaac Shaver of Pendleton and Wesley Shaver of Pendleton; and her sisters-in-law, Virginia Crull Schlarb of Texas and Carol Redding of Florida. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be given to Community Hospital Foundation in Anderson.
