She was predeceased by: her son James H Welch, III; her son-in-law Glenn Spearman; her parents, Vernon McAtee and Catherine McAtee (Maxwell); her brother Tom McAtee; and her great grandchild Eliona.
She is survived by: her husband Jim Welch; her daughters, Melissa Spearman, Teresa Powell (Bruce) and Kelly Johnson (Bret); her grandchildren, Stephanie, Kerri, Kasie, Katie, Brandon and Kristin; her siblings, Ruth, Dorothy, Helen and Steve; and her close friends, Ginger, Ruby and Kathy. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews.
