We bid farewell to Margie L. Maxey Knotts of Anderson, Indiana, born in Huntingburg, Indiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 30, 2024 at the age of 93. Margie touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Earl and Anna Louise Stapleton (Sunderman); her former husband Merrel Maxey; her husband Duane Knotts; her son Dennis Maxey; her grandson Kevin Maxey; and her brother Raymond Stapleton.
She is survived by: her daughter Dianna Campbell (Russ) of Anderson; her daughter-in-law Doris Maxey of Anderson; her grandchildren, Russ Campbell II (Julie), Ryan Campbell and Kelly Bowles (Kerry); her great grandchildren, Alyssa Huff (Jacob), Emma Campbell (Ryan), Nikki Morris (Justin), Trey Campbell, Kenedi Campbell, Faith Boyce and Brooke Boyce; her great great grandchild Campbell Ann "Cami" Huff; her brother Marvin Stapleton (Betty) of Huntingburg, IN; and her stepgrandsons, Trent Swindell (Shawn), Tyler Swindell (Trish) and Troy Swindell (Angie). She is also survived by five step great- grandchildren; several step great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
