He is survived by: his children, Dorthay Welch (James), Voncile Bostic, Mabelle Morgan (Marvin, Sr.), Luther Austin, Jr. and Louis Austin (Emma); his grandchildren, Cheri Bostic, Sidney Austin, Scott Broadnax, Katie Jones (Michael, Sr.), Curt Austin, Jr. (Tami), Welch, Michael Austin (Shayla), Matthew Austin (Izabella), Delana Stough (Justin) and Camille Austin; and his sisters, Tiller Blair (F. J.), Johnnie Mae McNeal, Mary Anthony and Martha Thomas (Johnnie). He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren.
