Lucille Avery Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 8, 2020, at the age of 96, Lucille Avery of Anderson, Indiana, born in Perris, California passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lucille Avery to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Virgil and Bonnie Edith Whisler (Jolliffe); her husband William E. "Bill" Avery; her sister Helen Whisler; her former husband Paul Wisman; her brothers, Bill Whisler, James W. Whisler, Clifford Whisler, Charles Whisler and Virgil Whisler; her daughter-in-law Edie Wisman; and her grandson-in-law Theo Cash.

She is survived by: her children, Jean Ann Knowlton (Dane) of Camden, AL, Julie Hendley (Bill) of Indianapolis, Edith King (James) of Anderson and Raymond John Wisman of Elwood; her stepdaughter Tammy Sue Alvey; her brother Gene Whisler (Alberta) of Goldsmith; and her grandchildren, Jamie King (Kimberly), Sara King (Pete Winninger), Andy Reecer (Kathy) and Angie Cash. She is also survived by 3 step grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 3 step-great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and numerous great nieces and nephews.
