He was predeceased by: his parents, Gaylord Marling and Thelma Leotta Marling (Bronnenberg); his wife Lyndia Lou "Linda" Marling; his sons, Jeffrey Marling, Scott Marling and Bobby Marling; and his brother William G. Marling.
He is survived by: his children, Billy Marling (Sherri) of Alexandria, David Marling (Jennifer) of Muncie, Gayla Marling of Anderson, Gina Keesling (Bryant) of Lapel and Larry Marling, Jr. of Indianapolis; his stepdaughter Darla Lowe (John) of McCordsville; and his brother Gilbert Russell Marling (Sylvia) of Florida. He is also survived by many grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
