He was predeceased by: his parents, Louise Gray Jackson and Roscoe Humphrey; his stepfather Herman Jackson; his parents-in-law, Luther and Thetis Ward; his grandfathers, Cecil and Frank Humphrey; and his stepsiblings, Nancy Pettigrew and Mick Jackson.
He is survived by: his spouse Dr. Bransford; his sons, Harold Gene Humphrey (Amy) of Anderson, James David Humphrey (Julie) of Anderson, Larry Lee Humphrey (Bobbie) of Anderson and William Alan Humphrey of Noblesville; his grandchildren, Dustin Marshall, Shannon Gaddis, Kalea Humphrey, Olivia Wood, Teresa Shoemaker and Shawn Hunter; his brothers, Harold Lee Humphrey (Jacque) of Marion and David R. Humphrey (Cheryle) of Chesterfield; and his stepsister Cindy Bennett of Anderson. He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren.
