She was predeceased by: her husband Donald L. Cookman; her parents, Samuel Forkner and Harriett Forkner; her siblings, Richard Forkner (Jeanne), David Forkner (Mariwanda) and Martha Jane Burk (Philip); and her daughter Terry Bratton.
She is survived by: her children, Harold Cookman (Debbie), Clifford R. Cookman (Helen), Sarah Cookman and Paul Cookman; her grandchildren, Melissa Cookman, Tiffany Cookman, Casi Cummins (Jason), Jessica Smith (Brandon), Jennilee Cookman (Braden Kirkpatrick) and Clifford J. Cookman; and her great grandchildren, Aundrea, Eli Smith, Jack, Jagger Cummins, William and Harrison Cookman. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 8th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Central Christian Church (923 Jackson St, Anderson, IN 46016). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 8th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
