John W. Pratt Sr. Obituary

John W. Pratt Sr., 54, died unexpectedly at home on November 2, 2022.

He was born on July 30, 1968 in Greenville, OH, the son of Fredrick and Hazel (Simmendinger) Pratt. John graduated from Daleville High School and was employed by IDI in maintenance and utilities for many years. He was a NASCAR enthusiast and loved country music and his beer.

John is survived by his wife, Angie (York) Pratt; his adoptive mother, Eva Hinton; nine children; John Jr., Matthew, Justin, Cory, Katrina, Christopher, Ashley, Erica, and Bentley; several grandchildren; siblings; Mary Pratt, Rosemary Hobbs, Penny Pratt, James Pratt, Richard Hinton, Kenneth Hinton, Ranny Hinton, Clifford Hinton, Melissa Wilson; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his adoptive dad, Ramphel "Ranny" Hinton, and two siblings, Robert and Roberta Pratt.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Pastor Danny Lane officiating. Burial will follow at East Maplewood Cemetery.

Friends may visit at the funeral home on Tuesday from noon until the service at 2:00PM.

Memorial donations may be given to the funeral home to help the family with funeral expenses.
