He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Yates and Martha Yates; and his sister Carolyn Yates. He is survived by: his stepson Chad Clayburn; his daughter Kristy Spence (James); his siblings, James Yates (Linda) and Kay Cook (Bob); and his grandchildren, Dustin Linhart, Alyssa Reed (Dakota) and Alexandria Spence. He is also survived by 6 nieces and nephews.
