He was predeceased by: his son Monte Dean Summers. He is survived by: his children, Melody Summers Hull and Meredith Lee Summers; his brother Mark Summers (Betty); his nieces and nephews, Bill Summers, Eric Ayers (Jan), Keith Dilts (Carol), Paul Dilts, Debbie Summers, Teresa Tabor, Anita Michael and Carol Brewster (Phil); and his daughter-in-law Debbie Tirro (Fred).

Instead of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the South Meridian Church of God.
