He is survived by: his wife Mary Ellen Chavez; his children, John Chavez, Mary Ann Garcia and Andrew Chavez (Mary Ann); his sister Alice Garcia; and his friends, Bobbie Chavez and Anita Page. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
