It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Dewey Williams of Anderson, Indiana, born in Decatur, Illinois, who passed away on January 23, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Racie Malon and Dorothy May Williams (Paige); and his sisters, Maxine Mooney, Marsha Meadows and Linda Diane.

He is survived by: his wife Donna Williams (Roush) of Anderson; his children, John Stephen Williams (Mindy), Kelly Ogden (Jeff), Scott Dewey Williams, Kasey Gary (Mark), Shawn Williams (Jennifer Lehman) and JB Shelton (Drew); his grandchildren, Bo, Berkley Shelton, Wade Williams (Jessi), Cole Williams (Emilee), Taylor Williams, Dean Williams (Sara), Kirby Bess (Tyler), Kaleb Ogden (Ayda), Krosley Ogden, Bailey Williams (Alliyah), Brogan Gary (Lindsay), Quincey Gary, Brinkley Gary, Ramsey Gary and Quade Gary; his great grandchildren, Beckett, Sloane, Wyatt, Nora, Enzo, Maeve, Kreegar, Briar, Alara, Madden, Kalloway and Roe; and his nieces and nephews, Chris, Howard, Jimmy, Carol, Laura and Leigh.
