He was predeceased by: his parents, John A. Turner and Cora M. Turner (Fair); and his sister Aletha Spangler. He is survived by: his wife Keila Turner (Brotherton) of Anderson; his sons, John R. "Jar" Turner of Bloomington and Greg Twiford (Jess) of Indianapolis; his sisters, Donna Mawk of Muncie, Betty Wimsatt (LeRoy) of Indianapolis, Wanda Starks of Indianapolis and Anita Wiggins of Virginia; his mother-in-law Shirley Brotherton; his brother-in-law John Brotherton (Lori); and his grandchildren, Isabelle Turner, Madelyn Turner, Jay Turner, Nathaniel Twiford and Reagan Twiford. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
