He is survived by: his wife Susan Elijah (Boone); his son Eric Elijah (Mollie); his sister Susan Rhule (John); his grandchildren, Joanna Brown Zumwalt (Andrew), Jack A. Elijah, Grace M. Elijah and Wyatt Boone Elijah; his great grandchildren, Ella and Keegan Zumwalt; his sisters-in-law, Claire Boone Barber and Ronna Wisner Boone; his close friends, Bill Zerkel, Jerry Stires, Bob Milan and Bob Porter; and also, Edith, Eddie Boone, Brad, Lori Bond, Larry and Linda Wright. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
