He was predeceased by: his father William Frederick Alumbaugh; and his former wife Janet K. Alumbaugh (Schweitzer). He is survived by: his wife Kay (Caudle); his children, Amanda Brown (Brian) of Anderson, Lisa Johnson (Tim) of Noblesville, Jim Alumbaugh (Wendy) of Anderson and Troy Martin (Jennifer) of Georgia; and his grandchildren, Victoria Brown (Isaiah Carrell), Alexa Johnson (Edward Cai), Dakotah Alumbaugh, Lydia Johnson, Landon Alumbaugh, Holly Nave (Jacob), Preston Martin and Katt Martin. He is also survived by one brother, two sisters, several nieces and nephews, and many brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Animal Protection League or the Madison County Humane Society in Jerry's memory.
