He was predeceased by: his parents, James Reaves and Maxine Reaves (Keever); his brother Lee Reaves; his daughters, Diana Pyle and Denise Cochran (Pyle); his grandson Shawn Pyle; and his son-in-law Randy Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Edna Pyle (Sharp); his children, Amy Gwaltney (Patrick), Doneta Pyle, Donald Pyle (Tracy) and Debra Brown; his grandchildren, Tyler Loftis, Tahitia Pyle, Shane Pyle, Dustin Pyle, Amanda Joris, Daniel Pyle, Diana Pyle, Jason Brown, Kelsey Brown, James Gwaltney (Lakeisha) and Keith Gwaltney; and his nephew Mark Reaves. He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
