He is survived by: his wife Susan; his sons, Jeffery Spires Jr. of Fishers, Christopher Spires (Julie) of Avon and Derrick Spires (Jennifer) of Noblesville; his grandchildren, Jacob, Caleb, Noel, Preston, Sophie, Maya, Ezekiel, Noah, Rachelle and Gabrielle; and his siblings, John Spires of Louisiana, Jerry Spires (Betty) of Washington, Jason Spires (Carol) of Anderson, Janella Hammersmark (Eyvind) of Washington, Janet Noble (Billy) of Colorado, Julian Spires (Patty) of Washington and Josiah Spires of Michigan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
