James Ronald Marriott Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Ronald Marriott of Anderson, Indiana, born in Lyons, New York, who passed away on August 27, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Marriott and Hilda Marriott (Right); his wife Betty Jo Marriott (Gunnels); his son Terry Lee Marriott; his stepchildren, Linda Faye Smith and Rick Savage; and his grandsons, Allen Boyd and Brian Smith.
He is survived by: his daughter Robin Boyd (David Gross) of Anderson; his stepchildren, Ronald Savage (Reva) of Mt. Juliet and Shelia Walker of Anderson; his siblings, Stewart Marriott (Norma) of Pendleton and LaVona Urwin (Bud) of Savannah; and his brother-in-law Billy Joe "BJ" Gunnels of Anderson. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; many nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
