He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Ragsdale and Sylvia Ragsdale (Babb); and his son James Ragsdale, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Susan McNamee; his son Jerry Ragsdale; his grandson Chad Ragsdale; and his sister Shirley Haynes. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
