James Posey Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Posey of Anderson, Indiana, who passed away on March 18, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Posey and Freida Posey (Harris); and his brother Bill Orwick. He is survived by: his significant other Linda Posey (Engle); his children, Shannon Posey, Erin Adkins (Stephen), Julie Dworek, Shon Silvey, Jason Silvey (Jenn) and Krista Demick (Kevin); his siblings, Don Posey (Vickie) and Diana Posey; and his brothers-in-law, Jimmy Engle (Virginia) and Bill Engle. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; ten great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews; and many friends.

Memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
