He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyle T. and Mary B. Ward; his wife Billie Jean; his brothers, Robert and Richard Ward; his granddaughter Summer Nicole Ray; his son-in-law Rick Wise; and his great grandchild Gabe Chaney Grubbs.
He is survived by: his daughters, Terri Chaney (Robert), Peggy Wise and Kathy Ray (Bruce); his grandchildren, Traci Grubbs, Tyler Wise, Evan Wise, Jordan Wise, Austin Ray and Ashley Faller; and his great grandchildren, Caleb, Chaney Grubbs, Myles, Madelyn Wise, Jackson, Palmer Wise, Adelyne, Cardamon, Opal Ray, Grayson, Madison and Ethan Faller. He is also survived by several nieces, and a host of friends.
