He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Hensley and Esperence Hensley; his son Brian Hensley; and his sisters, Mildred Scott, Ruth Goehring, Geneva Sheriff and Emma Jean Fox.
He is survived by: his wife Wilma "Sue" Hensley; his children, Cathy Garrison, Dale Smith (Susie), Tina Smith, Lori Smith, Mark Smith (Alan) and Jay Vanduyn (Petra); his grandchildren, Amanda, Shane, Misty, Rusty, Jeremy, D. J., Tia, Carly, Trina, Christine, Zac and Ariel; and his close friend Brian Hutchison. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Protection League or the Madison County Humane Society.
