He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Gillespie and Rosemary Gillespie. He is survived by: his siblings, Walter Gillespie, Janet Gillespie and James Dean "JD" Gillespie; his nephews, Justin Gillespie and Ryan Gillespie (Heather); his niece Jessica Scholer (Ryan); his great-niece Hannah Gillespie; and his great-nephew Hunter Gillespie.
