He was predeceased by: his parents, James "Red" Gibson and Jean Gibson (Gray); his brother David Gibson; and his friends, Dennis Smiley, Tim Gray and Bill Perkins.
He is survived by: his sons, Patrick (Holly), Shawn (Shawn), Mathew and Nick Gibson (Amy); his siblings, Jimmy (Patsy), Tommy Gibson (Deanie) and Marilyn Lewis (Chris); and his friend Mickey Gray. He is also survived by five grandsons, three granddaughters; two great-granddaughters; several nieces and nephews.
