She was predeceased by: her parents, David Carter and Elizabeth Carter (Vine); her husband Melvin Parkhurst; her siblings, Florence, John, Morley, Bob and Russell Carter; her sons, William, John and Harry Parkhurst; and her grandchild Thomas.
She is survived by: her daughter Roberta Smith (Ron) of Anderson. She is also survived by son many grandchildren and great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to American Heart Association.
