She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Scott and Marion Scott (Nye); her husband Edward Venable Jr.; and her sisters, Dorothea, Virginia and Mary Ann.
She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Venable, Elizabeth Shepherd (Scott) and Eddie Venable (Christi); and her granddaughters, Rebecca, Olivia and Abigail.
