He was predeceased by: his parents, John James and Lola James; his wife Carol James; and his siblings, John James Jr., Ed James, Bill James and Joy Brock.
He is survived by: his daughters, Judy Adams of Fishers and Diane Eytchison of Anderson; and his grandchildren, Aaron Gustin (Sarah) of Lafayette, Amanda Strawser (Dan) of Pendleton, Misty Adams (Jeremy) of Anderson, Jeremy Medley of Anderson and B. J. Sawyer of Anderson. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service (229 S Rangeline Rd, Anderson, IN 46012). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be given to Riley Hospital for Children.
