She was predeceased by: her parents, Owen Sides and Susan Sides; and her son Melvin. She is survived by: her husband Lester Lee Filbrun; and her children, Norm Filbrun (Mary), Mike Filbrun, Veneta Denlinger (Gerald), Julie Killion (Dan) and Sherilee Filbrun. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and three great great-grandchildren.
