It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Emogean Spurlin of Anderson, Indiana, born in Crawford, Tennessee, who passed away on December 2, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Ray and Hallie J. Ray; and her siblings, Robert Ray, Leslie Jr. Ray, Maxine Wilson and Marjorie Gipson (Hanford Spurlin).

She is survived by: her children, Marcia Douglas and William Spurlin (Valerie); her grandchildren, Kylee Bond (Ryan) and Elijah Spurlin (Jacki); and her great grandchildren, Brooks Bond and Hallie Bond. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
