He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Burns (Hellems); his sons, Michael Burns (Annette) and Brian Burns (Debora); his grandchildren, Noah, Andrew, Rachel Burns and Brian Burns, Jr.; and his sisters-in-law, Shirley Hamilton and Betty Shuman. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
