She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Janney and Bernice Janney (Baker); her son Steve Johnson; her son-in-law Larry Gwaltney; and her brother-in-law Joe Carpenter.
She is survived by: her husband Jerry Spaulding; her children, Debbie Gwaltney, Bambi Rector (Harold), Kelli Henry (Dave) and Rob Spaulding (Lisa); her grandchildren, Mark Johnson (Jodi), Sara Garrison, Mandy Wilson (Aaron), Bryan Rector (Kylie), Eli Spaulding (Ashley), Elise Mickler (Gerald), Ethan Spaulding (Mandy), Evan Spaulding (Kylie) and Alex Pritchard; and her sisters, Norma Bonisa (Joe) and Jeannie Carpenter. She is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, The Christian Center Rescue Ministries, Anderson, or Humane Society of Madison County.
