Elena M. Swan Obituary
Elena M. Swan, age 66, of Anderson, passed away on February 2, 2023, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She was born in Anderson, Indiana on January 10, 1966, to David and Florence Swan.
Elena attended Anderson High School. She did factory work for most of her life. She attended Mount Pilgrim Church with her daughters. Elena was the true life of the party. She was fun, flirty, outgoing, and there was never a dull moment when she was around. Everyone who knew her loved her. She was a hard worker and made sure her children never went without. She enjoyed boating, fishing, playing pool, and listening to music. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Elena is survived by her boyfriend Brian Davies; children Lisa Daniels, Anita Helsley, and Jennifer Lane; grandchildren Marcus Anderson (Robvae), Ebony Goolsby, Dillin Helsley (Kelsey), Davin Key (Lexi), Latifah Williams, Cayden Biggs, Ezrith Biggs, David Lane Webb, and Daniel Webb; great-grandchildren Za'Riyah, Malcolm, Hollis-Robert, Anistacia, Elias, Jayleigh, Carter, and A'Lisayah Mae; siblings Lester Swan (Linda), Sherry "Sissy" Swan-Rufner; nieces and nephews Angela Rufner, Brian Swan. Jamie Swan, Michelle Swan, and Keith Swan; and best friend Jackie Holman-Simpson.
She is preceded in death by her husband David Lane, brother David Swan, and her parents David and Florence Swan.
A Celebration of life will be held on Sunday February 12, 2023, at Monty's Lounge in Chesterfield, IN from 1-4pm. Cremation was chosen through Legacy Cremation and Funeral Service – Anderson.
