She was predeceased by: her parents, Waldon Paul and Mildred Paul (Mullins); her husband William "Bill" Smith; her brother Clyde Paul; and her pets, Spud and Mollie.

She is survived by: her daughter Linda Smith; her niece Laurel Martin (Lance); and her pet Baby.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Madison County Humane Society or the Alzheimer's Association.
