He was predeceased by: his grandfather Ed Lyall; and his great-grandparents, Ray and Verna Peckinpaugh. He is survived by: his son Jaxxon Gauldin; his parents, Sheila Potter and Ronald G. Gauldin; his brother Ronald "Ronny" Gauldin (Alyssa); his nephew Zeke Gauldin; his grandmother Claudia Lyall; and his aunt Joyce Potter. He is also survived by several cousins and extended family.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family.
