He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Dotson and Nellie Dotson (Seiwert); his wife Tomoko Azuma Dotson; his son Mike Dotson; and his siblings, Hazel Greenwalt, Reba Jones, Gladys Hiles, Margaret Jones and Kenneth Dotson.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Nicholson (Jeff) and Terry Dotson; his grandchildren, Charity Caldwell (Blaine), Morgan Thompson (Matt), Andy Nicholson (Ashley) and Dustin Dotson (Kaylee); his sister Evelyn Fergeson; and his close friends, Bev and Dave Boivin. He is also survived by 7 great, grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Chesterfield Volunteer Fire Department.
