She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert Piper and Mildred Piper (Butler); her husband Gerald Witte; her brother Duane Piper; and her grandson Tyler Bolander.

She is survived by: her children, Brian Witte, Brenda Owens (Mike) and Barbara Miller (Mark); her sister Ruth Anderson; and her grandchildren, Eric Owens, Brandon Owens and Kelsey Miller. She is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren.
