She was predeceased by: her parents, Wallace Scott and Marye Elizabeth (Simmons); her husband Charles Shrake; her siblings, Ann Girton Neal (Jack), Paul (Eleanor) and Jack (Mary V.); and her nephews, Harry, Hugh, Mike and Tim.

She is survived by: her nieces, Patsy Schultz, Stephanie Nichols, Melanie Shallop (Gary), Marilyn Reece, Leah McDonald, Paula Way (Scott), Virginia Dunaway (Lloyd) and Marjorie Adamson (Terry).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to East Christian Church.
