He was predeceased by: his son Christopher Hurst. He is survived by: his wife Darra Hurst; his daughter Shelly Baker; his grandchildren, Brittney Shoemaker (Justin) and Brady Baker; and his great grandchildren, Drew, Alex, Hunter and Lilly.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church.
