He is survived by: his former wife Nancy Shoemaker of Anderson; his children, Julie Imel (Tod Higbee) of Manning and Brent Shoemaker (Sharon) of Rehoboth Beach; his grandchildren, Britney Wells, Brook Shoemaker (Sarah), Emma Shoemaker, Paige Shoemaker, Steven Bower and Line Bower; his great grandchild Harper Wells; his niece Jamie Seelye (Shoemaker) of Indianapolis; and his sister-in-law Joyce Shoemaker of Daleville.
