David Stephen Papai Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Stephen Papai of Anderson, Indiana, who passed away on January 15, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his son David Lee; his grandson Michael David Fowler; his brother Albert; his daughter Jeanné; and his parents, Stephen Papai and Julia (Varga) of South Bend.
He is survived by: his wife Leanor; his children, Michele (David Drabold), Andrea (John Fowler) and Michael (Jenny) of Anderson; his grandchildren, Jacob Fowler (Lydia Picard), Lindsay Fowler Adkins (Josh), Sasha, Mila, Leanya Martczyanov, Will Drabold (Kaitlyn Kostival), Edward Drabold (Ashley Cobbs) and Ava Papai; his stepgrandson Eli Malcomb; his great grandchild Charles David Drabold; his brother Victor Papai (Mary Lou); his sister-in-law Sandy Papai; and his sister Julianne Mroczkiewicz (Tony). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews as a proud and engaged uncle and great uncle.
Due to the state restrictions for COVID-19, guests are required to wear face coverings and practice social distancing.
