He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Jay Bentley and Lena Bentley (Ogle); his wife Mary Bentley; his sons, Larry Franklin and Jeff Humble; his grandchildren, Stryder Franklin and Nicole Carter-Reese; his great grandchild Jordan Rummel; and his sisters, Marian Jones, Edna Fox and Catherine Moe.
He is survived by: his children, Curtis Bentley (Brenda), Valarie Mullins (Gary) and Karen Friedman (Jeff); his grandchildren, Jill Angelle, Tim Carter, Trevor Green, David Bentley (Keena), Neal Mullins, Lauren Mullins (Kris Lowe), Lucas Lindley (Kayla) and Samantha Friedman; and his brother Dale Bentley. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
