He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mary Barrickman and Wallace Barrickman; his children, Jenna Majors (Tony) of Cicero and Travis Barrickman of Noblesville; his stepson Garth Lindner (Brooke) of Brownsburg; his siblings, Margaret Armstrong of Noblesville, IN, Becky Denham, Tom Barrickman of Brewton, AL, Bonnie Sharp of Atlanta, IN and Kathleen Haddock (Jim) of Westfield, IN.; his grandchildren, Skyler Majors, Kayla Schaefer (Darren), Jesse, Alexander, James, AdleyBarrickman, Ella and Alden Lindner; and his great grandchild Callum Schaefer.

“The Indiana Beekeepers sure enjoyed all the spring clinics at Dave's farm. Working the beehives seeing the sheep and cattle. It brought many beekeepers together and developed many beekeeping friends networking. Dave and Eldon Morehouse drove almost non stop one year with a load of pkg bees from Alabama. They had to keep the cargo van windows down overheating with all those bees. Lots of great memories and stories seeing David the last 20 years at bee meetings. He will be missed. Brad Truax”
