With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Clifford Wilhoit of Anderson, Indiana, born in Manhattan, New York, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Clifford left this world on October 31, 2024 at the age of 77, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin R. Wilhoit and Ann C. Wilhoit (Tomasulo); his brother Brian; his siblings-in-law, Katie Wilhoit and Michael Gustin; his great grandchild Kayla Harless; and his niece Chrissy Payne.
He is survived by: his wife Vera; his children, Doug Wilhoit (Kay), Keith Wilhoit (Tonya), John Wilhoit (Patty) and Michelle Dillender (Larry); his stepdaughter Kristina Shoemaker; and his sisters, Karen Gustin, Gayle Johnson and Valerie Spurlin (Bill). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-granddaughter.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Brown-Butz-Diedring Chapel (515 E 53rd St, Anderson, IN 46013). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 at the East Maplewood Cemetery (200 College Dr, Anderson, IN 46012).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be donated to the Madison County SPCA (https://www.mchsandersonin.org) or the Animal Protection League.
