Chester J. McCord Obituary

We are sad to announce that on August 19, 2021, at the age of 100, Chester J. McCord (Anderson, Indiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his former wife Mary McCord; his wife Martha Lou McCord; his brother Manford McCord; and his granddaughter Angela Marshel. He is survived by: his children, Sandra Newman (David), Marcy Marchel (Roshier) and Mark McCord (Barbara); his stepchildren, Jerry Bannon (Charlotte), Candace Wilde and Neeca Harvey; his grandchildren, Brian Newman (Marth Clephane), Brenda Newman (Rich Hulden), Brad Newman (Suzanne), Robert Marshel, Daniel Marshel, Alan McCord and April Lawless (Preston); his stepgrandchildren, Adam Braden (Lisa) and Eben Braden (Marianna); and his nephew Tom McCord (Connie). He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren.
