He is survived by: his children, Charlene Cermak (Mack) and Garry Solid; and his grandchildren, Michelle McKenzie, Melissa Ward, Mark Solid (Erin) and Steele Solid (Amber). He is also survived by twelve great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren.
