He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Tic" Wells and Bernett E. Wells (Ely); his wife Vicki Jean Wells (Gerber); and his siblings, Patricia McPherson and Garland Wells.
He is survived by: his children, Carla Gibbs (Basil Stanley) and James Wells; his grandchildren, Shayla Gibbs, Patrick Gibbs (Angie) and Mercedes Stanley; his great grandchildren, Sophya, Karmyn, Braiden, Grayclynn, Bryson, Little Patrick "Tato" and Rae'lynn; his brothers, James "Pete" Wells (Sylvia) and John Wells (Carol); his brother-in-law JJ McPherson; and his close friends, Sharla and Raven. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bozell Funeral Home (1010 Main St, Lapel, IN 46051). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Bozell Funeral Homes, Lapel Chapel (1010 Main St, Lapel, IN 46051). A reception will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brookside.
Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist with Ed's expenses.
