He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Curless and Mary Curless (Nicholson); his brother David Curless; and his brother-in-law John Brandenburg. He is survived by: his wife Diana Allen; his children, Teresa Pitts, John Pitts and Lisa Pitts (late Bill Green); his granddaughters, Chelsea Henderson and Savannah Pitts (Nick Griffin); his great grandchildren, Tyler, Gracie, Charles, Mary Elizabeth and James; and his siblings, Gary Hipes (Brenda) and Susan Brandenburg. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
