It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Ann Veerkamp of Anderson, Indiana, born in New Albany, Indiana, who passed away on March 5, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Nails" Harrison and Doris Harrison (Dils); her former husband Mike; her siblings, Patty McGee and Bill Harrison; and her pets, Shane and Sheba.
She is survived by: her husband Jack Burns; her daughters, Dawn Lintz (Greg) and Jean Burns (Steph); her grandchildren, James Zumwalt, Kyra Riddle (Matt), Julie Bumb (James), Amanda Hensley and Tee Jay Hensley; her great grandchildren, Lilliana Bumb, Elijah Zumwalt, Johnathan Goode, Kolton Zumwalt, Alexandria Griffith, Evelyn Riddle and Jackson Hibbert; her sisters, Kathie Harrison (Chris) and Debbie Childs; her nephew Josh Childs; and her pet Muffin. She is also survived by her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
All memorial contributions in Carol's name may be gifted to the American Diabetes Association.
