It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Candie N. Rice of Anderson, Indiana, born in Elwood, Indiana, who passed away on November 1, 2022, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard Rice and Helen Rice (Kelly); her siblings, Rodney Rice, Louise Rice, Trish Rice and Kathy Kelly; her nieces, Melissa Kelly and Angie Kelly; her nephew Heath Kelly; and her great-nephew Cody Price.
She is survived by: her sons, Christopher McCarty, Deric McCarty (Alyssa) and Jared McCarty (Brittany); her grandchildren, Adam, Michael, Logan, Jasmine, Amara and Sunny; her siblings, Freda Alleman, Wilma Arehart, Peggy Bixby and Wally Rice; and her former husband Mark Richards. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
Memorial contributions may be given to Dunnichay Funeral Home to help offset funeral expenses.
